It’s been one week since term started back up, and it’s going well. We had a great Christmas, with the family over on this side, and now I’m doing lots and lots of reading for two lit classes. I’m grateful I had a little headstart before classes started; it’s certainly paying off now. I’m also continuing with piping this semester, expanding on piping skills and also going deeper into the lectures, with planned trips to a bagpipe maker and getting more into ‘the scene.’ Finally, I’m taking astronomy again, but this time it’s focused on this solar system, and in particular Earth, Mars, and Venus both in composition and evolution. Should be good. Here are some pictures for you, a number of them are from the parents.
I’m headed out now to hear Bobby McFerrin, part of the Celtic Connections festival.
